Work postponed on I-35 crossover south of Duluth


DULUTH, Minn. – Work on a median crossover, just south of Duluth on I-35 is postponed due to forecast rain and all traffic lanes are open.

Construction is expected to resume Monday, May, 6 and the following lane restrictions will be in effect.

Motorists traveling north and south on I-35, just south of Boundary Avenue in Duluth, will be restricted to a single lane, while crews resume construction of a median crossover, weather permitting. Motorists will be restricted to a single lane for about a mile.

Construction of the crossover is expected to take until approximately May 16. As soon as it is completed, all I-35 traffic will be moved to the southbound lanes.
