Hwy 23 reopens at Fond du Lac
DULUTH, Minn. — Hwy 23 is now open in the Fond du Lac community. The highway was closed since Tuesday, June 19, when a major storm left the highway and surrounding neighborhoods flooded.
After the water receded, crews removed debris from Mission Creek and the Hwy. They also made emergency road repairs.
Only two state highway remain closed in Northeastern Minnesota as a result of the flooding.
- Hwy 2 from I-35 to Boundary Avenue in Proctor, closed, detour in place
- Hwy 210 from mile marker 220 to 227 through Jay Cooke State Park, closed
