I-35 lane restrictions, ramp closures begin June 7 near Scanlon, Esko
DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists will encounter single-lane, head-on traffic on Interstate 35 between Scanlon and Larson Road from Thursday, June 7, to mid-October. The lane restrictions are necessary as crews continue work on a major pavement reconstruction project.
Ramp closures:
- The ramp from Hwy 45 to northbound I-35 will close June 7 through mid-October.
- The northbound I-35 entrance and exit ramps at Carlton County Road 1 in Esko will close June 7 through mid-August.
The project will provide a smoother, safer driving surface for motorists.
