Nighttime ramp closures on I-35 in Duluth begin May 21
DULUTH, Minn. — The ramp from northbound I-35 to Mesaba Avenue, Superior Street and Michigan Street will close Monday, May 21, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Work will continue nightly through Thursday, May 31.
The closure is necessary as crews complete a paving project. Detour routes will be clearly marked.
Additional I-35 traffic impacts:
- Superior Street between 5th Avenue West and 11th Avenue West is restricted to a single lane.
- Single-lane, head-to-head traffic between Highway 45 in Scanlon and Larson Road just south of Highway 61 in Esko begins May 29.
