Blatnik Bridge public meeting rescheduled for March 14


DULUTH, Minn. – A public meeting has been rescheduled in Duluth for those who want to learn more about the Interstate 535 Blatnik Bridge rehabilitation project scheduled to begin in May 2012.

Project staff will be on hand to answer questions about the work being done, project schedule and traffic impacts.

The rehabilitation project includes steel and rail repair and replacement, painting and replacement of expansion joints.

The project is scheduled to begin in May 2012 and be completed by fall 2013. Funding for this $12 million project is being shared between the Minnesota and Wisconsin departments of transportation.
