Lane restrictions on I-35 near Willow River in Pine County begin Aug. 2
DULUTH, Minn. — Northbound and southbound I-35 near Willow River will be reduced to a single lane in each direction beginning Tuesday, Aug. 2, weather permitting, for a bridge improvement project.
The lane restrictions will remain in place until the project is complete in late September, weather permitting.
The project includes work on the approaches and railings on two bridges.
Traffic backups may occur and motorists are asked to be patient or use an alternate route.
This project will improve safety and extend the bridges’ life spans.
PCI Roads, LLC is the contractor for this $763,449 project.
