Northeastern Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths Workshop set for June 15 in Duluth
What: More than 70 traffic safety stakeholders will attend the first Northeastern Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths Workshop in Duluth.
When: Wednesday, June 15, 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Inn on Lake Superior, 350 Canal Park Drive, Duluth, Minn.
Who: Members of the media are invited to attend and interview key traffic safety stakeholders, including representatives from law enforcement, engineering, education and emergency medical services as well as county and city officials.
Why: Traffic crashes are the leading cause of deaths in Minnesotans ages one to 34. The Northeastern Minnesota TZD group’s goal is to reduce traffic fatalities through education, enforcement, engineering and emergency medical services.
