I-35 lane closures scheduled for Nov. 14-15 in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Interstate 35 in Duluth will encounter lane closures Monday, Nov. 14, and Tuesday, Nov. 15, while MP Nexel crews attach fiber-optic cable to the Garfield Avenue Bridge.
Traffic impacts are as follows, weather permitting:
- Monday, Nov. 14 – The right two lanes of northbound I-35 at Garfield Avenue will close shortly after 9 a.m. Later in the day, the left lane will close and the two right lanes will reopen. Signs will direct motorists to merge just after the I-535 exit to Superior, Wis.
- Tuesday, Nov. 15 – The left two lanes of southbound I-35 at Garfield Avenue will close shortly after 9 a.m. Signs will direct motorists to merge just after the I-35 entrance from Fifth Avenue West. All lanes will reopen by 3 p.m.
