Ramp and alternating lane closures scheduled Oct. 31 in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — The ramp from northbound Interstate 535 to northbound Highway 53 and southbound I-35 will close for one day on Monday, Oct. 31 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. while crews do a scheduled bridge inspection. In addition, motorists traveling north on Interstate 35 at the I-535 junction will encounter alternating lane closures while the inspection takes place.
Northbound I-535 traffic will be directed north on I-35, will exit at 5th Avenue West, then return to southbound I-35 on the 5th Avenue West entrance ramp.
Regular bridge inspections evaluate the condition of a bridge to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
