UPDATE: Northbound I-35 paving project between Sandstone, Kettle River
DULUTH, Minn. — Both lanes of northbound I-35 will reopen between Sandstone and Kettle River at noon Friday, Sept. 30.
Traffic will be reduced to a single northbound lane at 7 a.m., Monday, Oct. 3. Both lanes will reopen again late in the afternoon, weather permitting, and remain open until work resumes on the project in 2012.
The paving project is in preparation for a long-term resurfacing project in 2012. When complete, motorists will benefit from a smoother and safer driving surface.
