Classroom Training |
The Minnesota Departments of Transportation and Public Safety provide classroom training designed to help companies and their drivers better understand the regulations, specific requirements, and how to operate legally as a motor carrier. Classroom training offers an in-depth review of the regulations, provides you with the opportunity to ask the trainer questions, receive answers in real time, and it allows you to network with your peers. There is no cost for training.

If you have a targeted audience with specific subjects that you would like addressed, please complete a "Request for Trainer" form. Available subjects include Driver Qualifications, Drug and Alcohol Testing, Hours of Service and CSA 2010 (DOT Audits/Interventions). Please note that Mn/DOT does NOT provide training on vehicle inspections or load securement. For these subjects, please contact the MN State Patrol, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Office at 651-405-6196. There is no fee for this service.
