Registration starts Oct. 1 every year for the new training season. To register for a class, you'll first need to request a MnDOT Tech ID number. All registrations are done through the Aggregate & Ready Mix Association of Minnesota. Note: MnDOT personnel must obtain supervisor approval to attend class, and register through their supporting employee development specialist or office manager.
Cancellation requests must be in writing and received by the ARM registration office no less than seven calendar days before the first day of the class to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations for the Bituminous Street and Concrete Field Recertification e-learning courses must be made by April 23, 2014 which is 7 days prior to April 30, 2014, the last day the exam will be available.

Include in your cancellation request:
- Your name
- Class name and number
- Date you wish to cancel
No-shows are considered late cancellations and ineligible for tuition refunds. However, companies may replace a registered student who is unable to attend with a replacement at no additional charge. Please have the replacement indicate who they are replacing when they sign in on the class roster.
You may apply for certification through testout in one or more areas. A testout presumes you have a broad knowledge of the material and are proficient in that area. Testouts are not for the convenience of the applicant - all efforts should be made to certify/recertify while classes are held during the training season.
