About this study

Tasks undertaken as part of this study include corridor planning, identification of interchange locations and access control, development of the geometric layout and environmental documentation.

Construction on this segment of the corridor is not funded in the District Long Range Plan.

Located between two regional trade centers, Hwy 52 is a High Priority Interregional Corridor. In addition, it has been designated as a Toward Zero Deaths Corridor.

Benefits

  • Improve safety and mobility at the CR 9 and CR 1 intersections
  • Reduce the number of at-grade access points along¬†Hwy 52 (approximately 29)
  • Improve safety and mobility for local traffic circulation
