About this project
This project will construct a new diamond interchange and a second overpass near 323rd Street in Cannon Falls to replace two signalized intersections. The project will also construct a frontage/backage road system to maintain access to existing streets and businesses and re-route CSAH 24 to the new interchange. $12.86 million was made available through the Safety and Mobility Interchange Program to help fund this improvement.
MnDOT has partnered with the FHWA, Goodhue County, Cannon Falls and area townships throughout the project development process.
Hwy 52 has been designated as a Toward Zero Deaths Corridor.
