Corridor background
The corridor runs 53 miles from Willmar to St. Cloud. As an Inter-regional corridor, this highway serves commuting and freight traffic to and from the level 1 trade center of St. Cloud. The northern part of the corridor has seen significant development as the St. Cloud metropolitan area continues to grow. The corridor primarily serves agricultural businesses; however, tourism is prevalent in New London/Spicer as well as in Paynesville and Richmond areas.
