About the Statewide Bicycle Planning Study
Bicycling is an important component of our transportation system.
The purpose of this project is to provide foundational information to assist MnDOT in better integrating bikeway facility planning and implementation into its day-to-day business.
The project team will do the following:
- Provide policy recommendations.
- Inventory bikeway facilities to create a state bikeway registry.
- Create an updated statewide bikeway map.
- Establish bicycle-related performance measures.
