Professional Development
Transportation Education Academy
The Transportation Education Academy was created to develop transportation curricula for primary, middle, and high school classrooms. There is a need for educational systems to incorporate a broad understanding of all transportation systems into the classroom. The goal of the academy is to create curricula that will result in transportation literate students who understand the technological, political, economic, social, and environmental areas in which total transportation systems must operate. Counselor Development Workshops
These three-day workshops are designed to familiarize counselors with different aviation careers through first-hand experience. Counselors tour airline facilities, airports, and other locations where aviation careers can be found.
